WINE SCHOOL: Cheers! Celebration Wines
We will explore the enchanting world of celebratory wines, including Champagne and dessert wines! As we approach the festivities, we'll prepare you to ring in the New Year in style.
In this course, you'll discover the history, production methods, and characteristics that make Champagne the quintessential celebratory wine. We will dive into the terroir of the Champagne region in France and explore different styles, from Brut to Rosé, offering a range of tasting experiences. We'll also explore the luscious world of sweet wines, such as Sauternes, and Icewine, perfect for rounding off a memorable evening. You'll learn about the intricate processes that create these sweet delights and how to pair them with delectable desserts.

Instructor Bio:
We’re lucky to have Victoria Tuzet teaching in the Putnam’s classroom. Victoria is originally from Montréal, Canada and recently moved to the Upper Valley from Southern California. An avid traveler, Victoria has always prioritized world renowned wine regions throughout her adventures. Victoria most recently spent 4 months living abroad in Spain, where she was able to venture to a few nearby wine regions including Rioja, Cava and Porto. She spent the 2022 Harvest in the Rhône Valley, France, assisting an organic and biodynamic vineyard in winemaking production. She recently completed her Level 3 Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certification. In her spare time you can find her watching documentaries, attempting to bake, or crafting!
