VINE SCHOOL: Lunar Magic Protection Spell Jars

Step into the enchanting realm of herbal alchemy with our Lunar Magic Protection Spell Jar class. Under the guidance of Lilith, immerse yourself in the art of creating personalized herbal spell jars for protection.

During this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the essential properties of each herb used as well as the importance of the lunar cycle in spell work. Lilith will share her knowledge on selecting and blending herbs, ensuring that each ingredient harmonizes with your intentions and desired outcomes.

Upon completion of the class, you will depart with your meticulously prepared herbal spell jar, a candle intricately carved with your intention, and a ceremonial spoon. Upon the arrival of the New Moon, you will initiate your intention-setting journey by lighting your candle and sealing your spell jar using a brief ritual that will be taught during the workshop.

About the Instructor: Lilith has been an herbal witch for much of her life but turned to it more diligently and studiously in 2020. She has since created an educational website for other herbal witches and lay people to learn the history and mysteries behind their favorite household herbs to bring more magic into people’s lives. Lilith has a degree in religion which she applies to her craft by studying various faiths’ uses of magic and ritual in order to better understand her own magic and mysticism. Lilith is the GM of Community at Putnam’s vine/yard in which she works to create community and care among the staff and the upper valley through events and experiences unique to the P’s space.

STAGE RES: P's MEET UP: Shut Up & Write!TM Upper Valley

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. Can't make it on Tuesdays? We also hold this on Sundays at 10:30am.

What Should I Bring?

Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the overhead music or the conversation by other patrons.

GUIDELINES:

Space is limited so registration will be required. https://www.meetup.com/shutupandwriteuppervalley/

5:15 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour

6:15 - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing

VINE SCHOOL: Self Love Spell Jar Lunar Magic Class

Lilith will guide you through understanding the phases of the moon and how to align yourself with the ebb and flow of lunar energy. By the end of the class, you'll have crafted a spell jar to set intentions during the New Moon and received a ceremonial teaspoon for future rituals. You'll gain insight into the herbs used in the spell jar blend and how lunar phases can impact your mood and energy levels.

Our focus in this class is on cultivating space and routines for self-love and appreciation. The theme for this session is the Flower Moon (May's Lunar Theme), which amplifies feelings of love and self-acceptance. We'll engage in group activities to create personalized affirmations for daily use, boosting confidence and self-love. Additionally, we'll discuss self-care practices to incorporate into your routine, enhancing the effectiveness of your spells.

This class includes one of the following: glass of wine (Amber, Verdejo, or Shiraz); regional beer; pour over coffee; artisanal tea; or craft beverage.

Tickets are non-refundable but are transferrable among friends.

POP UP: Siri Bird Art

We’re excited to be featuring local artist Siri Bird Art in the vine/yard during our mimosa brunch! Browse beautiful floral portraits while sipping our signature mimosa flight.

“Flowers in fluid form: an ink-based exploration of floral portraiture.  Distilling inspiration from the natural world and that elegant, nebulous space of overlap our own flesh shares with plant tissue, most obviously: flower petals! Flowers can be so suggestive, as artists like Georgia O'Keefe have made unmistakably clear. My art is an homage meant to celebrate and illuminate those fluid, feminine, and floral qualities we share.”
