Wine school: Fall Into Bold Reds: A Rich Harvest of Flavors
This red wine class offers an in-depth exploration of various red wine styles, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques from around the world. This class is designed to celebrate the rich, full-bodied red wines perfect for autumn. As the weather cools, we’ll be sipping through the bold reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage and Zinfandel, wines known for their robust flavors, structured tannins, and deep complexity. The class will cover the differences in flavor profiles influenced by factors like climate, soil, and aging methods, such as the use of oak barrels. We’ll cover the nuances of tannins, acidity, and body, helping you to discover your palate.

Instructor bio:
Victoria is originally from Montréal, Canada and recently moved to the Upper Valley from Southern California. An avid traveler, Victoria has always prioritized world renowned wine regions throughout her adventures. Victoria most recently spent 4 months living abroad in Spain, where she was able to venture to a few nearby wine regions including Rioja, Cava and Porto. She spent the 2022 Harvest in the Rhône Valley, France, assisting an organic and biodynamic vineyard in winemaking production. She recently completed her Level 3 Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certification and is currently pursuing the WSET Diploma. In her spare time you can find her watching documentaries, attempting to bake, or crafting!
