Wine School: Wine 101 with Victoria
The Wine 101 class offers a delightful journey into the world of wines, catering to both newcomers and enthusiasts alike. Participants will learn the fundamentals of wine tasting, including the art of identifying aromas, flavors, and textures, all while exploring the nuances of various grape varietals and regions. This class provides an engaging and educational experience that deepens your appreciation for the complex and diverse world of wines.

Ruelas Vinho Verde 2020, Minho, Portugal
Golden Chardonnay 2020, Monterey County
Casa Silva Carmenere 2021, Colchagua Valley
Sobon Estate "Rocky Top" Zinfandel 2020, Amador County
Tickets are not refundable, but they are transferrable.
Instructor Bio:
We’re lucky to have Victoria Tuzet teaching Wine 101 in the Putnam’s classroom. Victoria is originally from Montréal, Canada and recently moved to the Upper Valley from Southern California. An avid traveler, Victoria has always prioritized world renowned wine regions throughout her adventures. Victoria most recently spent 4 months living abroad in Spain, where she was able to venture to a few nearby wine regions including Rioja, Cava and Porto. She spent the 2022 Harvest in the Rhône Valley, France, assisting an organic and biodynamic vineyard in winemaking production. She recently completed her Level 3 Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certification. In her spare time you can find her watching documentaries, attempting to bake, or crafting!
