We all know Chardonnay is polarizing and you either love it or hate it. We get it! This will be an exploratory class in which we will deep dive into winemaking techniques that contribute to butteriness and creaminess. We will explore some white wine varietals you may not be familiar with, in hopes of discovering some new favorites!
Instructor Bio:
We’re lucky to have Victoria Tuzet teaching Wine 101 in the Putnam’s classroom. Victoria is originally from Montréal, Canada and recently moved to the Upper Valley from Southern California. An avid traveler, Victoria has always prioritized world renowned wine regions throughout her adventures. Victoria most recently spent 4 months living abroad in Spain, where she was able to venture to a few nearby wine regions including Rioja, Cava and Porto. She also spent the 2022 Harvest in the Rhône Valley, France, assisting an organic and biodynamic vineyard in winemaking production. When Victoria isn’t drinking wine, or studying for the Level 3 Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certification, you can find her watching murder documentaries, attempting to bake, or planning her upcoming summer wedding in (of course!) the wine region of Burgundy, France!
