Join local musicians Tom Horton Davis and Madonna Gordon for live music at Putnam’s vine/yard as we celebrate WRJ’s First Friday Party!

Tom Horton Davis is a full-time jazz guitar enthusiast and part-time cancer doctor.  He has a fondness for jazz standards, old guitars, and playing with friends in the Upper Valley jazz community.  He’ll be accompanied by friend and fellow musician Madonna Gordon. Madonna is a jazz bass player and vocalist from Norwich , VT. We are honored to host Tom and Madonna at the vine/yard!

Madonna Gordon is a jazz vocalist and bassist who can be heard in and around the Upper Valley of VT and NH with various musicians and small groups. Her main joy is in making music that speaks to the spirit, and brings people into a space where they can set aside their cares and differences and simply have a good time. She got her start in music very early on playing piano and sining in multiple choirs and ensembles. In college, she discovered her love for jazz, gospel, and blues, which led to her eventually picking up the bass (much later on!) and tackle jazz from the instrumental side. She has been fortunate to be active with the local Interplay Jazz and Arts community, through whom she has studied voice with Madeline Kole and furthered her bass playing.
